As of January 2011, QuarterArcade.com made the decision to discontinue its
retail game sales business. We started this business in 2001 with an exclusive
focus on restoring and selling classic video games. As time progressed we
continued to find warehouses of old games and restore them, with many satisfied
customers. Along the way we began selling original game parts and found that
there was no other good source for original game parts. We found many collectors
needing that elusive part for their restoration and through our connections we
were able to source many of these parts.
Fast forward 10 years and we’ve had a much harder time finding "restorable" games
as well as parts to restore these games properly (especially in the case of new
monitors). We’ve also found demand for the parts continues to be strong and
have been fortunate over the years to find these parts. As a result, we made
the decision to discontinue our retail game sales business to focus on our parts
portion of the business.
If you purchased a game from us in the past and need assistance with it, we are
still available and will do our best to assist with any problems you might have.
If you are searching for restored arcade games we suggest you contact Richie at
Richie Knucklez Arcade Games (http://www.richieknucklez.com).
Richie is a very good friend of ours and does quality restoration work with a focus
on classic video games.

International Rate Increases
We do a bit of shipping overseas these days and wanted to point out that postal rates for shipments outside of the US have just gone up a bit this past month. Most overseas shipments (for small parts) are a minimum of $35 these days and usually about $40-$50 to ship most circuit boards overseas. These rate increases are out of our control, but we wanted to point them out for overseas customers.
New Reproduction Artwork Projects
Been a while since we posted an update but wanted to everyone know we are printing some more projects. During 2011 we printed Zoo Keeper control panel overlays, Assault CPOs, Pac-Man Cocktail CPOs (using original film) and Galaga '88 CPOs. We currently have Neo Geo 1-slot and 2/4-slot CPOs in production as well as Root Beer Tapper CPOs and Robotron CPOs (using original films) in progress. As always, these will be screen printed items, done the right now, no cheaper inkjet prints.
Thank you!
Just wanted to post a big thank you to all of our customers during the past 11 years. I can't believe it has been that long, but as of February 2012 it will be 11 years in business. Thanks for all your support over the years!
